The Role\n

\n
• Registered Manager of a 4-bedded EBD childrens home
\n
• Overall responsibility for the safe and effective running of the service
\n
• Ensure full compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards
\n
• Lead, manage, and develop a dedicated residential staff team
\n
• Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and risk management processes
\n
• Maintain high standards of care and positive outcomes for young people
\n
• Manage rotas, staffing levels, budgets, and operational performance
\n
• Build strong relationships with external professionals and agencies
\n
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain GOOD Ofsted rating
\n

The Person Applying\n

\n
• Must hold a full UK driving licence (essential car driver required)
\n
• Proven experience as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready to step up
\n
• Background in childrens residential care, ideally EBD
\n
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
\n
• Confident and capable leader with staff management experience
\n
• Calm, resilient, and able to manage challenging situations effectively
\n
• Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people
\n
• Strong organisational, communication, and decision-making skills
\n
• Committed to delivering a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment
