Our client is looking for a proactive and hands-on Stores Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of their stores and warehouse operation. This is a varied role combining stock control, goods in/out and the assembly and manufacture of specialist products.
\nThe successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail and be confident using hand tools to assemble products to a high standard. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a practical role and takes pride in maintaining an efficient and well-organised stores environment.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

Supervise the daily operation of the stores department, ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately.

Receive, inspect and book in deliveries from suppliers.
\n - \n
Organise and maintain stock locations to ensure a clean, safe and efficient warehouse.
\n - \n
Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
\n - \n
Carry out regular stock checks and annual stock takes.
\n - \n
Maintain accurate stock records using the company's inventory system.
\n - \n
Assemble and manufacture products in accordance with company specifications and quality standards.
\n - \n
Use a variety of hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
\n - \n
Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality requirements before dispatch.
\n - \n
Liaise with purchasing, production and sales teams regarding stock availability and customer orders.
\n - \n
Monitor stock levels and highlight replenishment requirements.
\n - \n
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed within the stores and workshop areas.
\n - \n
Support continuous improvement of stores processes and workflow.
\n - \n
Train and support other members of the stores team where required.
\n

Previous experience within a Stores Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
\n - \n
Experience assembling or manufacturing products.
\n - \n
Confident using a range of hand tools.
\n - \n
Strong stock control and inventory management experience.
\n - \n
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
\n - \n
Good computer skills with experience using stock control or systems
\n - \n
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
\n - \n
Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
\n
