Where will you be working?\n
\nAt M Group Highways, were supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.\n

\nYoull be joining our Highways team, as the UKs number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.\n

What will you be doing?\n
\nSupport cost and value management, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.\n
\nCollaborate with Operations to prepare clear and reliable quarterly forecasts.\n
\nIdentify and manage contract variations, early warnings, and compensation events.\n
\nEnsure all work meets M Groups Infrastructure standards and commercial procedures.\n
\nBuild strong client relationships, keeping budgets and year-end targets on track.\n
\nOversee sub-contract procurement, monthly reconciliations, and final accounts.\n
\nCarry out site visits and maintain progress within agreed deadlines.\n
\nProvide flexible support with ad-hoc commercial duties as needed.\n

What youll bring\n
- \n
- Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related construction field preferred, not essential \n
- Proven commercial experience in the construction industry \n
- Effective negotiator and communicator \n
- Good organisational and people skills \n
- Highways and civil engineering experience (preferably with contractors) \n
- Knowledge of NEC contracts \n
- IT proficient \n
