Class 1 Driver

Were currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Driverto work with a well-established logistics company based in Solihull (B90). This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work delivering chilled, frozen, and ambient products across RDCs and retail stores.

As a Class 1 Driver, youll be responsible for:

  Completing 23 deliveries per day to RDCsor stores

\n
• \n

  Operating fridge or curtain-side trailers, depending on the load

\n
• \n

  Delivering a mix of chilled, frozen, and dry goods

\n
• \n

  Unloading pallets using a pump truck and operating a tail lift safely

\n
• \n

  Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately

\n
• \n

  Maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service at all times
  

\n

• \n

  Start Times: Flexible early morning and afternoon starts

\n
• \n

  Days: Monday to Friday (weekend work available)

\n
• \n

  Shift Length:1012 hours per day

\n
• \n

  Pay Rate: £18.00 £20.00 per hour (PAYE)

\n
• \n

  Weekly pay every Friday
  

\n

\n
• \n

  Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

\n
• \n

  Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

\n
• \n

  Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience

\n
• \n

  Experience with fridge or curtain-side trailers preferred

\n
• \n

  Ability to operate a pump truck and tail lift safely

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication and customer service skills

\n
