PAT Testing Operative\n
Location:Oxfordshire / West Berkshire\n
Rate: £16.00 per hour\n
Contract: Temporary Assignment (Approx. 3 Months)\n
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday\n
\nAn opportunity is available for a qualified Electrical Compliance Technician to support planned testing and inspection programmes across a range of commercial and industrial premises.\n
\n This position is primarily site-based, with a significant proportion of work carried out at a large operational facility in Oxfordshire. Occasional travel to additional locations across the wider region will be required to assist with compliance and certification activities.\n

Key Responsibilities -PAT Testing Operative\n

- Carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and associated compliance inspections. \n
- Support the delivery of electrical safety programmes within operational environments. \n
- Complete testing records and documentation accurately. \n
- Work independently across multiple sites while maintaining high safety standards. \n
- Assist with meeting project and compliance deadlines. \n

- Company vehicle for business use. \n
- Fuel card supplied. \n
- Full PPE and testing equipment provided. \n
- Accommodation arranged when overnight stays are required. \n
- Daily subsistence allowance for evening meals when working away from home. \n
- Direct travel to and from site locations. \n
\n
- \n
- City & Guilds 2377 qualification, or an equivalent PAT Testing certification. \n
- Previous experience undertaking electrical testing or compliance-related duties within commercial or industrial settings. \n
- Ability to manage workloads independently and work with minimal supervision. \n
- Current Emergency First Aid at Work certification. \n
- Valid Basic DBS certificate issued within the last three months. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
- \n
- Standard working week of 37 hours. \n
- Overtime opportunities may be available depending on operational requirements. \n
- Immediate start available for suitable candidates. \n
- Engagement available via CIS or PAYE payment methods. \n
