Operating a world class, automated facility in Stowmarket, we are looking for a technically minded graduate to join our Liquid Malted Ingredients team as an Assistant Technical Brewer.

What You’ll Be Doing:

\n
    \n
  • Process Optimization: Assist in monitoring and optimizing liquid extract processing to improve yield, efficiency, and throughput.
  • \n
  • Data & Analysis: Carry out routine sampling, fluid/lab analysis, and track technical trial data.
  • \n
  • Continuous Improvement (CI): Drive structured problem-solving initiatives relating to factory safety, GMP, quality, and efficiency.
  • \n
  • Documentation: Manage and update SOPs, technical records, and cross-functional project data.
  • \n

What We’re Looking For:

\n
    \n
  • A degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or Food Science/Technology (focused on manufacturing/processing, not nutrition).
  • \n
  • Sharp data skills (Excel, Word) and a highly organized, analytical mindset.
  • \n
  • An eagerness to learn automated, large-scale plant systems.
  • \n
  • Desirable: Prior placement or work experience in a chemical plant, dairy, or liquid food manufacturing facility; knowledge of HACCP/GMP.
