Position: Full Time/ Permanent

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 per annum (DOE)

Autograph Recruitment are currently working along side a leading accountancy practice who are committed to providing exceptional financial services to their clients. Following a sustained period of growth, our client is looking to appoint an ambitious manager who is ready to play a significant role in the continued development of the business.

You will help shape the direction of the team, build lasting client partnerships, and contribute to the ongoing success of a thriving practice.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Managing a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
  • \n
  • Reviewing year-end accounts, corporation tax returns and personal tax computations.
  • \n
  • Acting as the primary adviser for clients, providing practical support and guidance throughout the year.
  • \n
  • Planning workloads, monitoring deadlines and ensuring work is delivered efficiently.
  • \n
  • Leading, coaching and developing members of the accounts team.
  • \n
  • Reviewing completed work to ensure compliance with professional and technical standards.
  • \n
  • Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to provide additional services.
  • \n
  • Working closely with senior management on process improvements and business growth initiatives.
  • \n
  • Supporting the continued expansion and success of their Bristol office.
  • \n

Qualifications and Experience:

\n
    \n
  • ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent recognised professional qualifications.
  • \n
  • Extensive recent practice experience.
  • \n
  • Previous experience managing or supervising an accounts team.
  • \n
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and taxation.
  • \n
  • Good understanding of FRS 102 and FRS 105.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • \n
  • Well organised, able to prioritise competing deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
  • \n
  • A proactive approach with a genuine commitment to delivering excellent client service.
  • \n
