Job Overview

• The role will offer a variation in work that will include maintenance planned and reactive, projects and installations.
\n
• All tasks to be performed in line within Company and legal Health and Safety procedures.
\n

GENERAL DESCRIPTION TASK RELATED

Maintenance Tasks

\n
• To ensure the following tasks as required are carried out: -
\n
• Day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery
\n
• Perform planned preventative maintenance tasks.
\n
• Ensuring that all logs and job sheets are filled in as required.
\n
• All reported faults are logged and acted on
\n
• Check sheets filled in.
\n
• Post work sheets filled in.
\n
• Breakdowns kept to a minimum.
\n

Sourcing and stocking spare parts

\n
• Ensure replacement parts are available as required, when following the planned maintenance plan.
\n
• Maintain a list of consumables and suppliers.
\n

Breakdowns

\n
• Taking instructions from the Maintenance Manager, ensure we minimize down time during plant breakdowns at Manton Wood Mill.
\n

Planned Maintenance

\n
• Following the planned maintenance schedule and after agreement with the Maintenance Manager carry out the tasks requested to minimize breakdowns and loss of production.
\n

Modifications

\n
• Carry out any modifications required and in accordance with all safety rules and regulations.
\n

Safety

\n
• To ensure all duties are carried out safely and with the highest concern for others on the site.
\n
• To work to current Health and Safety regulations and to wear appropriate safety equipment.
\n
• To be aware of handling instructions for Raw Materials and of Finished Product MSDS sheets.
\n
• To alert the other staff when a safety issue is perceived.
\n
• To undertake responsibilities in emergency response/crisis situations as required
\n
• Ensure all plants are isolated before carrying out any work.
\n
• Ensure permits to work are used and followed.
\n

Other Duties

\n
• Maintain all working areas in a clean and safe condition to protect products from cross contamination from equipment.
\n
• Hold regular progress meetings with Maintenance Manager
\n

Safety

\n
• Ensure compliance with the companys Quality and Environmental Management System and Health and Safety Policies.
\n

Skills and Experience

• Enthusiastic.
\n
• Good time keeping.
\n
• Willingness to learn.
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Driving license advantage
\n

Salary : Up to £35k per annum
