Job Description

We're currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for an exciting Double Deck (DD) / Longer Semi-Trailer (LST) trunking role& store deliveries roles with our client based in Bellshill

\n

This is a fantastic opportunity for professional trunk drivers looking for regular, ongoing work to work on the following

\n

Trunking - Fixed Sunday to Thursday or Thursday to Monday pattern with a 14:00 start time

\n

Stores delivery drivers - fixed Thursday to Monday shift pattern with a 05.00 start time

\n

The Role:

\n
    \n
  • Depot-to-depot trunking using Double Deck (DD) and Longer Semi-Trailers (LST)
    • \n
  • Working a regular pattern
    • \n
  • 05.00 - 14:00 start time role dependent
    • \n
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and completing all relevant paperwork
    • \n
  • Safe and efficient transportation of goods between distribution centres
    • \n
  • Ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport legislation
    • \n
  • Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service
    • \n
\n

Pay:

\n
    \n
  • £16.23 - £20.56 per hour minimum
    • \n
  • Weekly pay
    • \n
\n

Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
    • \n
  • Minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience
    • \n
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification
    • \n
  • Digital Tachograph Card
    • \n
  • Previous DD or LST experience is advantageous, although full familiarisation may be provided for suitable candidates
    • \n
  • Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
    • \n
  • Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
    • \n
