- Lead and manage the overall operation of the childrens home, ensuring adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements. \n
- Supervise and support staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership and supervision. \n
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of all children in residence by maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding practices. \n
- Maintain accurate documentation related to care plans, incident reports, and regulatory compliance. \n
- Liaise with external agencies such as social services, health professionals, and educational providers to coordinate comprehensive support for children. \n
- Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks associated with running a children home effectively. \n
- Promote a nurturing environment that encourages childrens personal development whilst respecting their individual backgrounds and needs. \n
Requirements

- Proven management experience with strong leadership qualities within a children's home environment as a Registered Manager. \n
- Level 5 Diploma in Children and Young People \n
- Extensive knowledge of regulations and Ofsted. \n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously. \n
- Compassionate approach with a genuine commitment to child welfare and safeguarding standards. \n
- Knowledge of relevant legislation governing childrens residential care services. \n
- Ability to lead by example whilst fostering a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement. \n
