What Youll Be Doing as the Commercial Contract Specialist

Driving Business Growth

• Contribute to bid/no-bid decisions and support new business opportunities
\n
• Lead the development of high-quality, competitive proposals in response to customer RFPs
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape successful bids
\n

Negotiating & Managing Contracts

\n
• Lead negotiations on complex, high-value contracts, including pricing, terms, and delivery
\n
• Draft and review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards
\n
• Manage contracts across their full lifecycle from proposal through to execution
\n

Managing Risk & Performance

\n
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
\n
• Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms
\n
• Recommend and implement contract changes to support programme success
\n

Supporting Programmes & Change Management

\n
• Partner with Programme Managers to manage contract change control processes
\n
• Track performance obligations and provide updates to stakeholders and customers
\n
• Align commercial activity with project delivery
\n

Solving Complex Challenges

\n
• Act as a key contact for customer queries, claims, and escalations
\n
• Investigate and resolve issues through detailed analysis and negotiation
\n
• Provide expert commercial guidance to internal stakeholders and leadership
\n

Leading & Improving

\n
• Drive continuous improvement across contract management processes
\n
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on major contractual matters
\n
• Support and mentor junior team members and contribute to team success
\n

What Were Looking For

\n
• Proven experience managing complex commercial contracts
\n
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
\n
• Ability to analyse risk and make sound commercial decisions
\n
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence at all levels
\n
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
\n
• Relevant Degree ideally law related
\n
