Maintenance Engineer

A well-established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of anElectrically Biased Maintenance Engineer.

This is a permanent PM shift position offering a stable working pattern, guaranteed weekly hours, regular weekend overtime and the chance to join a growing business that values reliability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

• Monday to Friday:2:30pm - 11:45pm
\n
• Saturday:5 hours, usually Saturday morning
\n

\n
• £45,000 - £47,000including the 5 Saturday overtime hours
\n

As part of the engineering team, youll be responsible for:

\n
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
\n
• Planned preventative maintenance
\n
• Reactive breakdown response and repairs
\n
• Diagnostic analysis and root cause investigations
\n
• Supporting production to minimise downtime
\n
• Maintaining and improving machinery and site equipment
\n
• Assisting with equipment installation and commissioning
\n
• Working closely with production and management teams
\n

\n
• Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
\n
• Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
\n
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
\n
• Good understanding of health & safety
\n
• Able to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
\n
• Recognised engineering qualification advantageous
\n
• Commercial laundry or process environment experience beneficial
\n
