\nBrighthire Recruitment are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a range of driving opportunities in and around Colchester, Essex.\n
\nWe have various roles available to suit different experience levels and availability, including days, nights, trunking, general haulage, deliveries, collections and ongoing assignments with local clients.\n
Pay rates range from £18.00 to £24.00 per hour, depending on the role, start time, shift pattern, client and assignment type. We believe in being clear and honest with drivers, so all pay rates, shift details and job information will be confirmed before you accept any work. No misleading adverts, no unclear rates and no wasting your time.\n
Typical duties may include:\n

\n
• Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
\n
• Completing deliveries and collections across local, regional or national routes
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
\n
• Ensuring paperwork, delivery notes are completed correctly
\n
• Following all road transport, tachograph and working time regulations
\n
• Representing both Brighthire Recruitment and our clients in a professional manner
\n

We are looking for drivers who have:\n

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence
\n
• Valid CPC qualification
\n
• Valid digital tachograph card
\n
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
\n
• A professional and reliable approach to work
\n
• Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations
\n
