\nMeridian Business Support is recruiting for aRecruitment Consultantto join our award winning branch based in Chester, supporting a busytemporary deskwith a strong focus onindustrial, logistics, warehousing and manufacturing rolesacross the Chester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys running their own desk, developing new business and delivering a high-volume, high-quality temp solution.\n
\nThe Role\n
\nThis is apermanent, full-time position, workingMonday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm. Youll manage the complete 360 recruitment lifecycle, working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to grow and maintain a profitable temporary desk.\n
Key responsibilities include:\n
\n

\n
• Sourcing and placing candidates into temporary assignments across industrial and logistics environments
\n
• Managing all branch enquiries via phone and email from both clients and candidates
\n
• Weekly payroll responsibility for40+ temporary workers
\n
• Writing and posting engaging job adverts across job boards and internal platforms
\n
• Conducting telephone screens, face-to-face and WhatsApp video registrations
\n
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular contact and on-site visits
\n
• Negotiating rates and terms with both clients and candidates
\n
• Generating new business using sales, business development, marketing and networking techniques
\n
• Identifying leads and converting them into sales opportunities
\n
• Arranging and attending client meetings to present Meridians recruitment solutions
\n
• Keeping CRM records fully up to date and compliant
\n
• Understanding market trends, margins and competitor activity to maximise performance
\n
• Achieving KPIs and contributing positively to the wider branch success
\n

Your own transport is essential due to regular client visits.\n
\nWhat Were Looking For - Were keen to hear from ambitious recruitment professionals who can demonstrate:\n

• At least 2 years experienceas a Recruitment Consultant, Temp Consultant or Internal Recruiter
\n
• Proven experience recruiting withinindustrial sectors(warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, production)
\n
• A successful track record of running a temp deskideally
\n
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
\n
• A proactive, sales-driven and target-focused mindset
\n
• Confidence, resilience and a whatever it takes team attitude
\n
