Bench Joiner

Weareworking with a reputable client based in Derbyshirewho require a professional Bench Joiner to join their team.

The position is a permanent role paying up to £18.00 per hour(DOE).

Working Hours: Monday - Friday - Day Shift (overtimealso available)

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing bespoke joinery items
\n
• Laminating & bonding unitary using contact adhesives
\n
• Edging, veneering, and preparing surfaces for finishing
\n
• Ensuring all work is produced to a high standard of quality and within project deadlines
\n
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
\n

Skills & Experience

\n
• Competent bench joiner / cabinet maker
\n
• Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
\n
• Experience working with MDF, plywood, laminates and veneers
\n
• Knowledge of working with solid surfaces - Corian / Krion / HI-MACS etc..
\n
• High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
\n

Desirable (but not essential)

\n
• Experience in spraying & topcoats
\n
• Heat forming solid surfaces
\n
• Knowledgeable in upholstery
\n
• Forklift licence
\n
