About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified MOT Tester to join a brand new automotive team based in St Ives. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality vehicle inspections while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

• Key Responsibilities
\n
• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA regulations and standards.
\n
• Accurately complete all MOT documentation and records.
\n
• Identify and report vehicle defects and safety issues.
\n
• Conduct vehicle inspections and basic diagnostics as required.
\n
• Liaise with technicians and service advisors regarding repair requirements.
\n
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and used correctly.
\n
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
\n

Requirements

Essential

\n
• Valid MOT Tester qualification and current testing licence.
\n
• Proven experience as an MOT Tester.
\n
• Full UK driving licence.
\n
• Strong knowledge of DVSA testing procedures and regulations.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Desirable
\n
• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (or equivalent).
\n
• Experience with diagnostics and servicing.
\n
• Hybrid and electric vehicle knowledge.
\n
