An exciting opportunity for an experienced Stores Manager to join a growing UK-based electronics manufacturer supporting leading technology companies across sectors including defence, space, motorsport, and transport.

With a new state-of-the-art facility launched last year, this is a great time to join and play a key role in building and optimising the stores function.

\nThe Role\n

Youll lead the day-to-day stores operation, ensuring accurate and efficient management of materials to support production. This includes goods-in, inventory control, kitting, and despatch, maintaining full traceability and high-quality standards.

\nKey Responsibilities\n

\n
• Manage stock control, traceability, and storage systems (FIFO, ESD, MSD)
\n
• Oversee goods-in, inspections, and supplier returns
\n
• Ensure accurate and timely kitting for production
\n
• Manage despatch, including export documentation and packaging standards
\n
• Use ERP/MRP systems to track inventory and report on performance
\n
• Lead, develop, and support the stores team
\n
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
\n

\nAbout You\n

Essential:

\n

\n
• Experience in a Stores/Warehouse/Despatch management role
\n
• Strong understanding of inventory control within manufacturing
\n
• ERP/MRP system experience
\n
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, and leadership skills
\n

\n

Desirable:

\n

\n
• Electronics or EMS background
\n
• Knowledge of ESD, IPC/JEDEC, and MSD handling
\n
• Export/shipping experience
\n
• Lean or continuous improvement exposure
\n
