\n Adaptable Recruitment are exclusively partnering with a growing business based in Knutsford who is looking to recruit a high calibre Sales Ledger Manager to join their experienced team on a permanent basis.
Salary and Benefits

Job Accountabilities
Team Management:
- \n
- Supervise, train, and develop the sales ledger/credit control team. \n
- Set objectives, monitor performance, and conduct regular appraisals. \n
Sales Ledger Oversight:
\n- \n
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the sales ledger. \n
- Ensure all sales invoices and credit notes are raised in a timely and accurate manner. \n
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies. \n
- Reconcile daily receipts and allocate cash \n
Credit Control & Cash Collection:
\n- \n
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts. \n
- Implement and enforce the company's credit policy. \n
- Liaise with customers to resolve payment issues and disputes. \n
- Manage legal escalations where necessary. \n
- Daily calls with customers when required- regular for key customers \n
- Ensure accounts do not reach retention (120 Days) \n
Reporting & Analysis:
\n- \n
- Prepare weekly and monthly debtor reports and KPIs. \n
- Support the finance team with audit preparation and external reporting. \n
System & Process Improvement:
\n- \n
- Ensure sales ledger processes are efficient and compliant with company policies. \n
- Contribute to system enhancements and finance transformation projects. \n
- Maintain accurate documentation and procedures. \n
Experience needed:
\n- \n
- Proven experience in a similar Sales Ledger, Credit Control, or Accounts Receivable Manager role. \n
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles related to sales ledger and revenue recognition. \n
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. \n
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail. \n
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. \n
- Proficient in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar) and Excel. \n
- Experience with managing a team and improving processes. \n
- AAT qualified or equivalent (desirable). \n
