Job Description
Due to continued expansion our client is looking to add a skilled CNC Turner / Miller to their manufacturing team., working within a modern machine shop, the successful CNC Turner / Miller will play a key role in producing precision-engineered components across a variety of materials. This is a hands-on position offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to develop your skills within a supportive environment.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Set up, programme, and operate CNC turning and milling machines. \n
- Produce precision components from technical drawings and specifications. \n
- Interpret CAD drawings and SolidWorks models accurately. \n
- Carry out quality inspections using standard measuring equipment. \n
- Select and set up tooling for a range of materials and applications. \n
- Troubleshoot machine issues and carry out basic machine maintenance. \n
- Support wider production activities, including plastics manufacturing processes when required. \n
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment. \n
Skills & Experience Required
\n\n- \n
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner / Miller in a manufacturing environment. \n
- Ability to programme CNC machines from scratch. \n
- Strong knowledge of both CNC turning and milling processes. \n
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models. \n
- Familiarity with Siemens, Fanuc, or similar CNC controls. \n
- Good understanding of tooling, fixtures, and machine setup. \n
- Competent using hand tools, workshop equipment, and measuring instruments. \n
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach. \n
