- Define and maintain the mid and long-term strategic direction of the UK & Ireland MX business, ensuring alignment with European and Global priorities. \n
- Lead annual business planning, long-range planning and strategic review processes, translating business objectives into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. \n
- Act as a trusted advisor to the UK Leadership Team, providing insight, challenge and recommendations to support key business decisions. \n
- Own the governance framework for business performance, ensuring clear visibility of revenue, profitability, market share, operational KPIs and strategic objectives. \n
- Lead executive performance reviews, business reporting and operational governance processes to identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions. \n
- Manage and prioritise strategic initiatives that accelerate growth, improve competitiveness, and strengthen Samsung's market position. \n
- Lead relationships with external research agencies, consultancies and insight partners, ensuring the business maintains a market-leading understanding of customer behaviour and market dynamics. \n
- Sponsor and lead cross-functional taskforces established to address critical business challenges and opportunities. \n
- Develop future organisational capabilities by embedding best practice across strategy development, performance management and business governance. \n
- Provide strategic leadership and vision across the operational functions of the MX business, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and execution. \n
- Drive the operating rhythm of the UK MX business, ensuring effective alignment across commercial, operational and strategic planning cycles. \n
- Champion data-driven decision making through the development of reporting tools, performance dashboards and business analytics capabilities. \n
- Lead cross-functional transformation programmes focused on simplification, automation and operational excellence. \n
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance and European Headquarters to ensure cohesive execution of strategic priorities. \n
- Ensure the organisation maintains strong planning discipline, governance standards and accountability across all business functions. \n
- Drive process improvements that increase organisational effectiveness, improve decision-making quality and reduce complexity. \n
- Establish scalable business processes, governance frameworks and reporting structures that support future growth. \n
- Lead UK & Ireland logistics and distribution functions, ensuring effective demand planning, supply planning, inventory management and fulfilment performance across all channels. \n
- Drive forecasting excellence through robust planning processes, scenario modelling and cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Sales and Headquarters. \n
- Balance customer requirements, commercial priorities and operational constraints to optimise business outcomes while maintaining healthy inventory levels. \n
- Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels and customer fulfilment performance. \n
- Ensure strong collaboration between commercial teams and supply chain functions to maximise revenue opportunities and minimise operational risk. \n
- Develop planning capabilities, tools and governance that improve visibility, responsiveness and execution quality across the business. \n
- Define a clear vision, key focus areas and operating principles for the Strategy, Operations & Supply Chain organisation, communicating regularly to ensure alignment and engagement. \n
- Lead and develop senior managers across Strategy & Business Management, Consumer & Market Insights and Supply Chain functions, providing coaching, support and accountability. \n
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement and commercial impact. \n
- Ensure clarity, governance and consistency across all people management processes, including objective setting, performance reviews, development planning and talent management. \n
- Build organisational capability through succession planning, mentoring and leadership development programmes. \n

- Extensive senior leadership experience within strategy, operations, supply chain, commercial management or business transformation roles. \n
- Demonstrated experience leading large, cross-functional teams within a complex consumer electronics, technology or FMCG organisation. \n
- Deep understanding of strategic planning, business management, commercial performance and operational governance. \n
- Proven experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving alignment across diverse functions and leadership teams. \n
- Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, inventory management and end-to-end supply chain operations. \n
- Exceptional analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. \n
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience balancing short-term performance requirements against long-term strategic objectives. \n
- Demonstrated success leading organisational transformation, process improvement and capability-building initiatives. \n
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with regional and global headquarters teams. \n
