\nLocation: Wembley (Hybrid) Start: ASAP Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment Pay: £20.08 per hour PAYE / £26.44 per hour Umbrella Enhanced DBS Required
\nWe are seeking an experienced SEN Budget & Recoupment Officer to support a busy Local Authority SEN Finance Team.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Support the monitoring and forecasting of SEN budgets. \n
- Manage SEN funding recoupment for out-of-borough pupils with EHC Plans. \n
- Process SEN payments for Brent pupils attending Brent and out-of-borough schools. \n
- Raise purchase orders, process invoices and ensure timely payments. \n
- Maintain accurate financial records and databases. \n
- Produce reports using Oracle Cloud, Excel, Power BI and other systems. \n
- Liaise with schools, parents, providers and other Local Authorities. \n
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and Council policies. \n
Essential Requirements
\nKnowledge of SEN funding, processes and procedures
\nKnowledge of financial regulations
\nAAT or ACCA qualified/part-qualified
\nExperience within SEN, education finance, school funding or Local Authority finance
\nStrong Excel and reporting skills (Oracle Cloud experience desirable)
\nExperience working with complex financial data and meeting deadlines
\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
