Bright Young Futures is a residential care provider supporting children and young people aged 8–17. We currently operate a well-established home in the Ilford area and are proud to be expanding with a newly registered home.

\nWe are currently looking for a Children'sResidential Support Worker able to work in the Ilford area. This role provides immense job satisfaction working with a range of professionals and directly creating positive outcomes for the young people you’ll support.
\n\nWorking Hours: Full-time, shift-based role on a rolling rota (Mon–Sun)

- Day shifts: 8:00am – 8:30pm \n
- Waking Night shifts: 8:00pm – 8:30am \n
Essential:
\n- \n
- Minimum 1 yearexperienceworking with children or young people (care, support, or education setting) \n
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) \n
- Ability to advocate for young people and promote their wellbeing \n
- Reliable, professional, and committed to safeguarding practices \n
Desirable:
\n- \n
- Experience in residential childcare \n
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) \n
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills \n
Key Responsibilities:

- Support young people with their daily routines and personal development \n
- Build trusting, positive relationships as a key worker \n
- Promote education, independence, and positive behavior \n
- Work collaboratively with social workers, families, and professionals \n
- Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and independence goals \n
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised home environment \n
- Complete accurate records and reports \n
- Make sound, informed decisions to safeguard and support young people \n
- Work effectively as part of a team delivering consistent, high-quality car \n
