Warehouse Operations Assistant

Connect Appointments is recruiting Warehouse Operations Assistants to join an established logistics business based in Bathgate on the back shift team, on a full-time temporary ongoing basis with the opportunity for permanent employment.

Our client operates a busy distribution facility, offering back shift work with full training, PPE and immediate starts available.

What's on offer?

• Full-time ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment

• 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis
\n
• Working hours are 12pm to between 7pm and 8pm
\n
• 12.90 per hour, paid weekly
\n
• Full training provided
\n

Please note: This role is based in a low-temperature environment - full PPE is provided.

As a Warehouse Operations Assistant, your duties will include:

\n
• Using mechanical handling equipment (MHE) to move stock safely
\n
• Handling incoming deliveries and goods-in processes
\n
• Loading and unloading goods in storage areas
\n
• Performing basic administrative tasks related to bookings and goods-in records
\n
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the shift
\n

To be considered as a Warehouse Operations Assistant, you will need:

\n
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
\n
• Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office
\n
• The ability to work effectively under pressure
\n
• Experience with proof of delivery processes and working with external suppliers is welcome but not essential
\n
