\nRate: £50 - 60 per hour (umbrella)
\nLocation: East Midlands
\nWorking: Hybrid
\nAbout the Childcare Lawyer Role:
\nSellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a locum Childcare Lawyer to join a local authority based in the East Midlands. The role will be for an initial 3-month period with a strong possibility of this being extended.
\nKey Responsibilities of the Childcare Lawyer role:

- To act as a legal advisor \n
- Advise upon and conduct proceedings relating to the care and protection of children \n
- To provide legal advice and support services to clients \n
- To carry a caseload of predominantly public childcare care proceedings \n
- To attend court and advocate on behalf of the council \n
The role involves hybrid working as court attendance in person is required.
\nIt is essential that you have a background in working in the public sector or local government.
