Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrics physician, you will help Pediatric patients of all ages in Lexington, KYreceive comprehensive general family practice careso they canachieve and maintain optimal health and wellness with a healthy work-life balance for the provider.

\n

\n

In this role, you willprovide a full range of health and wellness services. You will be expected toperform annual wellness exams, sports physicals, care for acute illnesses and minor injuries, manage chronic illnesses like asthma, diabetes, and hypertension, provide diagnostic services (including lab work, vision/hearing testing, blood pressure monitoring), offer preventive care (personalized consultations and health screenings), conduct well-child exams (including immunizations for newborns to adolescents), and provide seasonal support for allergies and the flu.You will also be expected tooffer mental health resources and supportto your patients.

To be successful in this role, you mustbe board-certified or board-eligible in Pedaitrics and committed to practicing patient-centered medicine within a collaborative medical community with access to advanced technology.

  • Provide full-spectrum pediatric care

  • Deliver wellness examinations, health screenings, and immunizations to support disease prevention

  • Counsel patients on diet, lifestyle choices, and disease management
  • \n
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging
  • \n
  • Offer guidance, counseling, and education on wellness, disease management, and medication adherence to patients and their families
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records, utilizing EPIC appropriately
  • \n
  • Provide and document direct treatment for patients, including ordering medications, referrals, and following up on specialist consultations
  • \n
  • Participate in primary care division activities, including peer review programs, quality metric improvement, and policy development
  • \n

Education:

  • Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Residency Program in U.S.
  • \n

License/Certification:

  • Kentucky License/Eligible

  • Board certification or active participation in the examination process
