Position Highlights
\nFuture Development - Long Term Care Center:
\nThe Department of Veterans Affairs is currently building a Spinal Cord Injury & Disorders Long-Term Care Center at the Dallas Campus of the VA North Texas Health Care System. This multi-year project includes construction of a new 30 bed SCI/D Long Term Care Center with space for an additional 30 beds for future growth and will be the first center of its kind in the region. The new SCI/D Long Term Care Center will empower and enable Veterans with SCI/D to enjoy comprehensive primary, sustaining and specialty care in a community atmosphere.
\nLocation: Dallas, TX – A thriving metro with world-class amenities, dining, and culture
Schedule: Monday–Friday (flexible hours) + on-call responsibilities
Practice Setting: Inpatient & outpatient SCI/D care, interdisciplinary collaboration
Key Responsibilities

- Provide diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for Veterans with SCI/D \n
- Perform procedures (joint injections, wound care, osteopathic manipulation, etc.) \n
- Lead an interdisciplinary team (PM&R, PT/OT, psychology, social work, and more) \n
- Utilize cutting-edge EMR systems \n
- Engage in teaching, research, and professional development \n
Preferred Qualifications
\n- \n
- Board Certified/Eligible in PM&R & SCI Medicine \n
- Completed PM&R residency + SCI Fellowship \n
- Experience in acute/subacute rehab & outpatient procedures \n
- Passion for Veteran-centered care \n
