Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing \n
- Graduate from an approved school of nurse anesthesia \n
- Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) \n
- Current Minnesota State Nursing License \n
- Current Minnesota State Advanced Practice Nursing License \n
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NRP preferred (PRN CRNAs exempt from NRP) \n
Job Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Administers anesthetics for surgical, obstetrical, medical, and dental procedures \n
- Maintains the patient in the desired anesthetic state by adjusting anesthetic as necessary \n
- Records the patients vital signs and watches for significant changes \n
- Administers CPR and airway maintenance in areas other than the OR \n
- Maintains a safe physical environment for patients and employees \n
- Other duties as assigned. \n
