In this vibrant role as a critical care nurse, you will deliver outstanding care to patients with neurological and trauma conditions. This 12-bed unit maintains a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, providing you with the necessary support to ensure exceptional care. Additionally, you will have the chance to work across various units, including Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, and Medical-Surgical, enhancing your experience and skill set.

• Deliver comprehensive care for patients with ICP monitors, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and lumbar drains
• Employ EPIC charting for precise and efficient patient documentation
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt to different units as required, upholding high standards of care
• Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in acute critical care
• Experience in Level II trauma critical care is essential
• Valid California RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Previous travel nursing experience is required
• At least 2 years of experience in the specified setting
