Position Overview

Our organization specializes in evidence-based behavioral therapies aimed at assisting children facing challenges associated with autism spectrum disorders. Our goal is to enhance the independence and quality of life for our clients and their families.

The Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) plays a crucial role in providing clinical expertise, leadership, feedback, and guidance to ensure the success of each assigned client case.

In this role, you will:

• Guarantee that client families receive consistent, high-quality clinical services, leading to significant client progress and satisfaction with our offerings.
• Deliver direct services to clients, which will include Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), overseeing assigned client cases, and providing consultation or coverage for cases managed by other Clinical Supervisors (BCBA).
• Support your clinical team in achieving professional growth and success, tailored to their experience level and developmental stage. You will mentor, provide feedback, and encourage Program Managers and Interventionists to thrive in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a minimum of 5 billable hours per workday (25 hours weekly / 110 hours monthly).
• Oversee your Program Manager team to ensure they achieve a minimum of 28 billable hours weekly (120 hours monthly).
• Deliver quality clinical supervision in line with BACB standards to ensure treatment integrity and quality assurance across various clients, settings, and funding sources, including direct observation and necessary protocol adjustments.
• Conduct developmental skills assessments, such as ABLLS-R, AFLS, and/or VB-MAPP, to create and evaluate individualized treatment recommendations and objectives.
• Provide supervision and documentation in compliance with BACB standards for RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBA candidates as required.
• Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments, including Functional Analyses, to develop function-based treatment plans.
• Offer precise skill assessments and direct feedback through Performance Management metrics to other clinical team members, including Behavior Interventionists and Program Supervisors/Managers.
• Deliver training as necessary to teachers, technicians, parents, and others using Behavior Skills Training (BST), which includes discussion, modeling, practice, and feedback.
• Attend Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and other interdisciplinary team meetings as applicable, presenting proposed goals, objectives, behavioral interventions, and potential modifications/adaptations when appropriate.
• Collaborate with school personnel by observing students, providing written programming and behavioral recommendations, implementing necessary training, and offering regular follow-up support as authorized.

Essential Skills:

• Strong expertise in ABA and clinical practices
• Self-motivated: Capable of consistently scheduling and attending client appointments and clinical team meetings
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: Clear language, accurate grammar, and spelling
• Excellent time management: Ability to balance billable and non-billable hours, both onsite and in-office
• Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues, fostering connections between the clinical team and client families
• Team-oriented attitude with a focus on customer service: Committed to serving client families and colleagues, regardless of their roles
• Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, with Spanish preferred
