Job Opportunity: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are currently looking for a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel position in Kansas City, Kansas.

Experience Requirements
  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, including scrub experience.
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in IR, particularly in large hospital settings, with peripheral and neurovascular expertise.
Licensing and Certification
  • Mandatory: ARRT Radiography certification.
  • State License: Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (application can be submitted upon job offer; candidates may start with a pending KS license).
Additional Requirements
  • Floating: May be required to float to Bell IR.
  • On-Call: Late call shifts from 5 PM to 9 PM may be necessary, potentially once a week based on rotation and demand.
  • Holidays: No holiday shifts are mandatory. If a holiday coincides with a scheduled workday, the following pay period will reflect a reduction in holiday pay hours.
  • New Graduates: Not accepted for this position.
  • Orientation: Held every Monday and Tuesday; credentials must be submitted one week prior to the start date.
Equipment Used

Experience with Siemens Systems, including Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee (single-plane, no biplane functionality) is essential.

Unit Information
  • Emphasis on teamwork within a slower-paced environment.
  • Primarily handles neuro cases and light body procedures (e.g., drains, lines, GT tubes).
  • Operates 4 rooms, averaging 7-8 light neuro cases and 2 IR cases daily.
  • Facility is nicotine-free.
  • Bi-weekly pay structure.
  • 8-hour non-billable orientation period.
  • Client allows up to 2 cancellations per month with a minimum of 2 hours' notice.
