1st Class Pipefitter
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Pipefitters to install, assemble, fabricate, and maintain piping systems in shipyard and/or industrial environments. This role requires the ability to read drawings, work safely, and perform precise pipe installations to meet project and quality standards.

Install, fit, and assemble piping systems according to blueprints, isometrics, and specifications

Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
\n - \n
Install valves, flanges, fittings, hangers, and supports
\n - \n
Align and secure piping systems for proper operation and testing
\n - \n
Perform pipe layout and fit-up prior to welding
\n - \n
Assist with pressure testing, flushing, and inspection of piping systems
\n - \n
Repair, modify, or replace existing piping as needed
\n - \n
Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in industrial or shipyard environments
\n - \n
Follow all safety procedures, jobsite rules, and quality standards
\n
Requirements

Proven experience as a Pipefitter (shipyard, marine, or industrial preferred)
\n - \n
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
\n - \n
Strong knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, and installation techniques
\n - \n
Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other piping materials
\n - \n
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
\n - \n
Comfortable working in physically demanding environments
\n - \n
Must meet project-specific drug screen and background check requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Shipyard or marine pipefitting experience
\n - \n
Experience with high-pressure or critical piping systems
\n - \n
Welding or tack-welding experience (as applicable)
