Job Summary
\nWe are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in New Braunfels, TX. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a collaborative outpatient setting while also supporting patients with select obstetrical needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building long-term patient relationships and delivering high-quality care across a broad patient population.
\nKey Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive family medicine services, including preventive care, acute visits, and chronic disease management

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan
\n - \n
Perform wellness exams, routine screenings, and follow-up visits
\n - \n
Manage common primary care conditions and coordinate specialty referrals as needed
\n - \n
Support obstetrical patients as part of a collaborative care team
\n - \n
Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
\n - \n
Educate patients on disease prevention, medications, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices
\n - \n
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
\n - \n
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care

Qualifications

Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant
\n - \n
National certification (NCCPA)
\n - \n
Previous family medicine or primary care experience preferred
\n - \n
Obstetrical experience preferred
\n - \n
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
\n - \n
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment
