We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist to join our recognized and highly respected practice - Bergen Neurology Consultants - holding prestigioius regional accolades at top-ranked Englewood Health in Northern New Jersey. This physician will provide comprehensive neurological care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in patient outcomes, research, education, and innovation.

What your day will look like

\n
    \n
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions.
  • \n
  • Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient neurological care.
  • \n
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and neuromuscular systems.
  • \n
  • Interpret diagnostic studies, including EEGs, EMGs, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging results.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with neurosurgery, neuroradiology, rehabilitation, critical care, emergency medicine, and other specialty teams.
  • \n
  • Participate in hospital quality initiatives, patient safety programs, and clinical pathway development.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR - EPIC).

Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • MD (or DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • \n
  • Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program
  • \n
  • Fellowship training in one or more of the following: (optional but preferred depending on subspecialty)

Vascular Neurology

Epilepsy

\n

Neurophysiology

\n

Movement Disorders

\n

Multiple Sclerosis

\n

Neuromuscular Medicine

\n

Headache Medicine

\n

Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology

  • Active or eligible for New Jersey Medical License
  • \n
  • DEA & NJ CDS registration
  • \n
  • AHA or American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certification
  • \n
  • Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment
  • \n
  • Experience in a community-based or hospital-based neurology practice preferred
  • \n

Englewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees. The salary shown reflects the minimum compensation; actual compensation considers specialty, relevant experience and training.

Minimum compensation: $300,000.00 annually
