- This position includes rounding and performing surgical procedures at Trinity Health Oakland. The facility offers Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby services, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). \n

Requirements
\n- \n
- Completion of a medical degree (MD or DO) \n
- Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology \n
- Physicians must be board certified or board eligible \n
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain) \n
- DEA license \n
- ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained) \n
- Womens Health Experience preferred \n
Duties & Responsibilities
\nA typical day may include:
\n- \n
- Providing comprehensive well woman care, including preventive visits, screenings, and counseling across the lifespan \n
- Managing a full spectrum of gynecologic concerns such as abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, menopausal symptoms, and vulvovaginal conditions \n
- Offering patient-centered family planning counseling and education \n
- Performing in-office procedures such as pap smears, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, and other gynecologic procedures based on practice scope \n
- Providing prenatal and obstetric care across a range of pregnancy needs, including routine and higher acuity patients as appropriate to the practice \n
- Collaborating with APPs, nursing, and support staff to ensure high quality, efficient patient care and clinic flow \n
- Providing clinical guidance and support to APP colleagues as appropriate \n
- Reviewing and managing labs, imaging, and patient communications with timely follow up \n
- Educating patients on preventive care, pregnancy expectations, and treatment options to support informed decision making \n
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record \n
- Participating in team huddles and coordinating care across the practice \n
