What you will do
\n\n
As a critical part of the team, the Commercial Installer works onsite with our commercial customers to set up and program their Integrated Security fire and security systems. The Commercial Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.
\n\nHow you will do it
\n- \n
- Installs appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security. \n
- Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris. \n
- Contacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule. \n
- Prepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor. \n
- Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures. \n
- Tests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service. \n
- Reads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required. \n
- Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls. \n
- May manage installation teams on larger projects. \n
- Coach and mentor less experienced installers. \n
What we look for
\nRequired
\n- \n
- Able to obtain and obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes. \n
- Some technical school training is a plus. \n
- 3-5 years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude. \n
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals. \n
- Ability to operate hand and power tools. \n
- Ability to operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner at all times. \n
- Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service. \n
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $23.08 - 31.73 Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
