\nYou’ll step into a role focused on leading structured music therapy programs for adults, including dementia-friendly respite groups and a community choir. You’ll have autonomy to guide sessions while working alongside a supportive team.

Responsibilities
\n• Facilitate structured dementia respite groups
\n • Facilitate a dementia-friendly community choir
\n • Provide music therapy to all structured programs
\n • Develop, implement, and maintain materials and content for all group programs, both musical and non-musical in nature
\n • Screen prospective clients for admission to programs
\n • Conduct assessments of prospective clients for admission to programs
\n • Provide and maintain supportive and educational resources for caregivers
\n • Provide direct guidance and training to volunteers when interacting with clients
\n • Provide direct guidance and training to CNAs when interacting with clients
\n • Maintain up-to-date client information
\n • Maintain client notes within the guidelines of best practices
\n • Use clinical skills to redirect or de-escalate clients when needed
\n • Assist in facilitating educational seminars and trainings
What makes you a great fit
\n• You hold a BMT credential and are fully certified, or willing to become certified
\n • You have at least 2 years of experience working with adults in a clinical setting
\n • You’re comfortable leading group programs independently
\n • You value compassionate, team-based care
\n • You have strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
\n• Base salary: $50,000 – $60,000
