\n\nKey Highlights

- Provide direct medical care to hospitalized patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. \n
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes. \n
- Manage patient care from admission through discharge, including conducting rounds, ordering and interpreting tests, and developing treatment plans. \n
- Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare providers. \n
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) system-EPIC \n
- Provide consultative services to other physicians and healthcare professionals as needed. \n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of hospital policies and protocols. \n
- Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. \n
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. \n
- Must hold or be eligible for an active medical license and DEA in Massachusetts. \n
- Previous experience as a hospitalist or in a similar role is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. \n
- Strong clinical skills, proficiency in inpatient care, and familiarity with hospital-based electronic medical records (EMR). \n
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients effectively. \n
- Available to work full-time, with a rotating schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays \n
