Job Description
The Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist enterprise is comprised of six hospitals in and around Winston-Salem, NC and an extensive outpatient clinic network. The flagship Winston?Salem campus features a 933?bed tertiary care center, Brenner Childrens Hospital, and a comprehensive cancer center, providing access to advanced subspecialty care, research, and academic resources.
\nHigh Point Medical Center, part of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, is a 351-bed facility and the second-largest hospital in the Wake Forest enterprise, serving a regional population of more than 600,000 across North Carolinas Piedmont Triad. Cardiovascular care is centered at the Congdon Heart & Vascular Center, offering a full spectrum of advanced cardiac and vascular services within a state-of-the-art facility. Services include invasive, non-invasive, and interventional cardiology; cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology services; comprehensive cardiothoracic and vascular surgery; advanced imaging and diagnostic testing; cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation through the Heart Strides program; and preventive cardiology and risk factor management.

\nPrimary hospital site: High Point Medical Center
\nPrimary clinic site: Greensboro, NC
\nOther clinic locations in the High Point market may be included or surrounding outreach locations
\nPosition Overview
\n 10 clinical sessions per week, each session is half day
On average, 4-6 clinic sessions and 3-4 imaging sessions
\nImaging responsibilities will be individualized based on Section needs and candidate expertise
\nTeam?based care model using provider pods that include MDs and APPs
\nRobust clinical infrastructure, including Epic, Dragon dictation, and DAX ambient documentation tools.
\nInpatient Service
\nApproximately 6-7 weeks annually, weeklong blocks
\nCall & Weekend Coverage
\nWeekday and weekend call shared across NI faculty
\nOn average, one weekend per month (Friday night to Monday morning)
\nOn average, one weeknight every three weeks
\nWeekend call can be bundled with inpatient service assignments, when possible
