Hospitalist, Hospitalist Pediatric Physician - Starting Salary $368,794, Sign On Bonus $75,000, Relo

The Hospitalist Physician is committed to YKHCs mission: to achieve the greatest possible improvement in the health status of the people of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region of Alaska. This role is employed by YKHC and works under the supervision of the Medical Director, who is supervised by the Clinical Services Administrator.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum Education:
  \n Must have completed an accredited medical school.
\n
• Minimum Experience:
  \n Must have completed a residency training program and be board-eligible or board-certified (unless a specific exception is made) by the appropriate board of the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association.
\n
• License, Certification, Registration:
  \n Must hold an Alaska State Medical License and a DEA License.
\n
• Equipment/Tools/Word-Aids:
  \n Must have the computer skills needed to access computerized medical records.
\n
• Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
  \n Needs the skills and knowledge to practice medicine in the area of their specialty.
\n

Supervisory Responsibilities

Ability to supervise medical students, residents, physician extenders, and Community Health Aide clinical practice.
