\nMANTECH seeks a motivated and career-focused Naval Systems Engineer to join our team onsite in Washington, D.C.
\nIn this role, you will support high-visibility Navy programs by delivering expert technical analysis and innovative solutions that enhance mission success and operational excellence.
\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:

Plan, design, and implement systems infrastructure, including hardware and software components
\n - \n
Analyze, modify, test, and maintain systems to meet performance, security, and compliance standards
\n - \n
Verify and validate systems to ensure alignment with internal and external requirements
\n - \n
Provide expert diagnosis and solutions for system issues in existing and new environments
\n - \n
Conduct engineering evaluations to support on-time, on-budget project completion
\n - \n
Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and execute project plans
\n - \n
Review policies, procedures, and performance reports to maintain regulatory and operational standards
\n - \n
Develop schedules, budgets, specifications, and resource plans for engineering projects
\n - \n
Select materials, tools, staff, and vendors to support system development and deployment
\n - \n
Lead or contribute to high-visibility Navy programs through specialized technical and business expertise
\n
Minimum Qualifications:
\n- \n
- \n
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
\n - \n
4+ years of relevant experience
\n
Preferred Qualifications:
\n- \n
- \n
Experience supporting or working directly with the U.S. Navy, either as active duty, a government civilian, or a support contractor
\n - \n
Familiarity with U.S. Navy technical authority, such as NAVSEA 05
\n - \n
Experience working with U.S. Navy Program Managers in an analyst capacity
\n
Clearance Requirements:

Must hold an active Top-Secret clearance.
\n
Physical Requirements:
\n- \n
- \n
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
\n - \n
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
