Job Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a vital member of our Occupational Medicine team.

Working under the guidance of the Medical Director, the Occupational Health Provider will function as an autonomous healthcare professional, consultant, and care coordinator. This position is essential for enhancing employee health and safety through clinical services, compliance management, and injury care.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Employee Health & Safety

    • Evaluate and treat injuries and illnesses related to the workplace.
    • Oversee the Workers' Compensation injury program.
    • Perform pre-employment health evaluations.
    • Conduct Department of Transportation (DOT) examinations.
    • Promote wellness initiatives and vaccination programs.
    • Implement and manage the bloodborne pathogen exposure response plan.
    • Work with employers on safety protocols and return-to-work strategies.
  • Compliance & Coordination

    • Ensure compliance with occupational health laws and standards.
    • Collaborate with Human Resources, safety teams, and external providers as necessary.
    • Maintain precise and confidential health records.

Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
  • Ability to secure and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in Illinois and Iowa.
  • Possess current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications relevant to the provider's area of practice.

The Clinton North Health Plaza is a multispecialty facility designed to provide the right care at the right time. In addition to primary care, we offer services in cardiology, nephrology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, and pediatrics, along with lab and radiology services. Our primary care team includes 4 physicians, 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and a skilled clinical and non-clinical staff. Expect a dynamic practice with a steady patient volume.
