About the POSITION

\n
• General Dentist needed in Talladega, AL
\n
• They will consider a new grad
\n
• They will work as the sole Dentist
\n
• Schedule/Clinic Hours: M-F 8-5 No Saturdays
\n
• Patient Volume: 20-25 pats/day - some of the more rural locations may see less, until the volume builds back up
\n
• Payor Mix - they see the medically underserved, so the majority is Medicaid/Medicare, sliding fee, etc.
\n
• Responsibilities: General Dentistry (cleaning, extractions, fillings (some Crown & Bridge if approved) - no dentures at this time (2 Dentists perform Crown and Bridge work); Provide dental care through corrective care, the prevention of dental disease and the promotion of dental health
\n
• 1 Assistant 1 Hygienist 3 Operatories per site
\n
• Additional dental sites have been added as they have grown
\n
• They use NextGen System
\n
• Patterson Dental equipment
\n
• Lab fees - not sure, and that may depend on if a Crown & Bridge work is done
\n

• Ability to communicate and relate effectively with patients, administration and medical personnel
\n
• Must be able to function as a collaborative and egalitarian team member
\n
• Must be able to work under stress while maintaining a level of quiescence that decreases anxiety in personnel and patients
\n
• Must be able to work with children.
\n
