Duties include…

\n - Perform complex histological procedures and techniques such as grossing, cutting, staining, drying and freezing to preserve and test the samples.
\n - Prepare tissue specimens for routine and special procedures to obtain a patient diagnosis.
\n - Record and analyze data.
\n - Prepare media, chemicals, reagents and solutions.
\n - Preserve and store samples.
\n - Maintain, clean, and repair equipment and instruments.
\n - Establish and monitor quality control programs
