Quick Facts Location: 320 Hospital Drive, Martinsville, VA 24112 Start Date: 08/03/2026 End Date: 07/31/2027 Shift: 4 shifts/week, 8–10 hours/day (pending patient volumes) Hours/Week: Approximately 32–40 hours Employment Type: Contract / Per Diem Licenses/Certifications: Medical license in Virginia; Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and Oncology preferred Experience: Prior experience in hematology and oncology preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: Confirm actual compensation with client) Benefits Include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and lodging when applicable Apartment available for ease of relocation What You’ll Do Provide specialized hematology and oncology care to patients in a busy outpatient center Manage a patient load of 12–15 per day, with minimal call responsibilities (light beeper calls) Collaborate with a team of three permanent providers and support staff Develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and coordinate care Document thoroughly and maintain compliance with all healthcare standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with oncology treatments What You Need Required: Medical license in Virginia Certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Previous oncology practice experience Commitment to long-term placement Willingness to drive within the region About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Martinsville, Virginia, committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive environment.
