Job Description
What You’ll Do & Learn: The Maintenance Technician Intern will receive hands-on training in topics such as motors, electrical controls, pneumatics, food safety, OSHA safety requirements, and troubleshooting. In addition, you’ll be responsible for: • Working with the maintenance team to gain a fundamental understanding of the following systems: electrical (not 460V), pneumatic, mechanical, motors, gear boxes, and drives • Learning diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques • Understanding the Lock Out Tag Out process and control of hazardous energy • Working with Maintenance Software to input time spent on repairs and to issue repair parts • Supporting Global Food Safety initiatives
