Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our organization, located at Valleywise Health Medical Center, previously known as Maricopa Medical Center. We are in the process of launching a new 240-bed teaching facility in collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine. This modern hospital will serve as a premier Level 1 Trauma and Regional Burn Center.
Our organization supports nine residency programs in partnership with the Creighton Arizona Health Education Alliance and Phoenix Children's Hospital, all situated in the heart of Phoenix. This role will involve employment with our multi-specialty group, which consists of over 400 professionals dedicated to patient care and education. The position will play a vital role in advancing the educational goals of the OB/GYN department's teaching initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage both inpatient and outpatient care with a flexible approach.
- Oversee labor and delivery processes.
- Staff outpatient clinics and conduct gynecological consultations and surgeries.
- Participate in a regular schedule that includes weekend and night shifts.
- MD or DO degree is required.
- Must possess a valid medical license in Arizona.
- ACOG Board certification or eligibility is necessary.
