Our organization is actively looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to become a part of our esteemed practice. Position Highlights
  • Become a member of a close-knit group consisting of 14 Physicians and 12 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
  • Work 14-16 shifts each month, with each shift lasting between 8 to 12 hours.
  • Enjoy 24/7 support from APPs.
  • Main location: Our Des Moines Medical Center, featuring 67 ICU/CCU beds.
  • Secondary location: Our West Des Moines Medical Center, which has 7 ICU beds.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive Salary Structure:
    • Year 1: $420,000
    • Year 2: $432,000
    • Years 3+: $568,379
  • Recruitment bonus of $150,000.
  • Relocation assistance up to $15,000.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance of $6,000.
  • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
  • Retirement plans available (403B with a 6.5% match and 457B).

Our Des Moines Medical Center is a Level II Trauma facility that has been dedicated to serving the community since 1893. We operate four non-profit Catholic Medical Centers and two specialty hospitals, totaling 875 beds.
