- Position Type: 1.0 FTE (flexible) \n
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5pm \n
- Location: Muskegon, MI \n
- Specialty: Diabetes & Endocrinology \n
- Hospital Info: On call support to Grand Rapids and Muskegon hospital \n
- Team Size: Muskegon has 2 Endocrinologists, 1 DNP, 5 support staff. Grand Rapids office has 5 Endocrinologist, 4 APP/PA, 20 support staff (supporting both GR and Muskegon) 2 CDCES RD, 2 RN CDCES (accredited education program) \n
- Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows \n
- Call Requirements: 6-7 weeks per year \n

Requirements

- Open to new grads or experience \n
- Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board. \n
- What Fellowship (if required): Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism \n
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain) \n
- DEA license \n
Duties & Responsibilities
\nA typical day may include:

- Providing direct patient care \n
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams \n
- Participating in teaching and mentoring \n
- Documenting in Epic EMR \n
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives \n
- Supporting community health efforts \n
