Microbiology Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) in Rhode Island

I'm hiring for a Microbiology Med Tech in Rhode Island! New Grads Welcome.

The MT/MLT recognizes the difference between potential pathogens and normal flora for all specimen types (recognizing the difference in media, atmosphere, and temperature requirements for each specimen type); conducts quality control measures on all laboratory tests; follows protocol for running controls and accepting/verifying results according to established procedures; evaluates controls and recognizes discrepant control results and advises Supervisor as needed; records and files all data obtained; and more!

Location: Near Providence, RI
\n Type: Full-time and permanent
\n Shift: M-F, 3p-11:30p, with Sat rotation
\n Requirements: College degree; ASCP cert; prior experience, including microbiology
\n Pay: Discussed during interview!
