Key Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Deliver exceptional cardiovascular care in an outpatient setting. \n
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide direct care. \n
- Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions through appropriate testing, imaging, and treatment plans. \n
- Interpret lab results, EKGs, echocardiograms, arterial and venous vascular studies, stress tests (including nuclear and exercise), and stress echocardiograms. \n
- Collaborate with and advise primary care providers on best practices for cardiovascular disease management. \n
- Provide minimal rotating after-hours phone coverage for urgent patient concerns. \n
- Stay current with advancements and research in cardiovascular medicine. \n
Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- Active and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain one) in North Carolina. \n
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program. \n
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship. \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine). \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. \n
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to team-based, integrated care. \n
- Outstanding patient service and professionalism. \n
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with Athena EMR is a plus. \n
Preferred Qualifications

- At least 2 years of full-time experience as a practicing cardiologist. \n
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. \n
- Compassionate communicator with a patient-centered approach. \n
